Overview

The Ping view monitors latency to multiple network endpoints simultaneously. Nexus includes 38 built-in targets covering Starlink infrastructure, game servers, and CDNs, and supports up to 10 custom targets.

Ping data is collected continuously by the Starlink router’s built-in ping diagnostics.

Built-In Targets

Targets are organised by service:

Service Locations
Your Starlink Direct Starlink latency baseline
Google Global CDN
Fortnite London, Paris, Ireland, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Virginia, Ohio, Montreal, Bahrain, California, Oregon, Singapore, Mumbai, São Paulo, Beijing, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Sydney, Ningxia
Counter-Strike: GO Vienna, Dubai, Seattle, Singapore, Luxembourg, Virginia
League of Legends Sydney, Chicago, Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Amsterdam

Table View

The default view shows all targets in a sortable table:

Column Description
Service Game or service name
Location Server location
Latency Current round-trip time in ms, colour-coded: green (<30ms), yellow (<100ms), orange (<200ms), red (>200ms)
Drop Packet loss percentage
Status Reachable (green dot) or unreachable (red cross)
Trend Rising, falling, or stable indicator

The header bar shows the best target, average latency, reachable count, and time since last refresh.

Filtering

Use the Filter button to filter targets by service, region, or status.

Pinned Targets

Pin any target by clicking its pin icon. Pinned targets appear in a dedicated panel on the right with a mini sparkline chart showing recent latency. This is useful for monitoring specific servers you care about (your VPN, a game server, your office).

Charts View

Switch to the Charts tab to see latency plotted over time.

Regional Latency Chart

Targets are grouped by geographic region with separate line series:

  • EU: European servers
  • US-E: US East Coast
  • US-W: US West Coast
  • APAC: Asia-Pacific
  • Other: Remaining targets

Hover over any point to see exact latency for each region at that timestamp.

Pinned Targets Chart

Below the regional chart, a dedicated chart shows latency over time for your pinned targets only.

Time Windows

Select the chart duration: 15m, 30m, 1h, 6h, 24h.

Custom Targets

Add custom ping targets in Settings → Ping Targets. Enter a hostname or IP address and an optional label. Custom targets appear alongside built-in targets in the table and charts. You can add up to 10 custom targets.
