System Requirements
Before installing, make sure your system meets these requirements:
| Platform | Minimum Version | Architecture |
|---|---|---|
| macOS | 12 (Monterey) | Intel or Apple Silicon |
| Windows | 10 (64-bit) | x64 |
| Linux | Ubuntu 22.04 or equivalent | x64 |
You also need to be connected to your Starlink network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
macOS
Download the .dmg file from nexustelemetry.com/download. Open the disk image and drag Nexus to your Applications folder.
# If macOS blocks the app on first launch:
# Right-click the app → Open → Open
# This is only needed once
Nexus is a universal binary that runs natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
Windows
Download the .msi installer from nexustelemetry.com/download. Run the installer and follow the prompts. Nexus will be added to your Start menu.
# If Windows SmartScreen blocks the installer:
# Click "More info" → "Run anyway"
# This is only needed once
Linux
Nexus ships as an AppImage, a universal format that works on any distribution with no installation required. It updates itself in place, so you’ll pick up new versions without reinstalling.
chmod +x Nexus-Telemetry-*.AppImage
./Nexus-Telemetry-*.AppImage
Native .deb and .rpm packages, served from signed apt and yum repositories, are in the works. Until those land, we recommend the AppImage. It’s the Linux build we test most extensively.
All Linux releases are GPG-signed. See the Linux download page for verification instructions.
