Outage Tracking
Nexus tracks every disconnection from your Starlink terminal, recording the timestamp, duration, and cause. Pro Edition adds detailed categorisation and pattern analysis.
Outage Categories
Each outage is automatically classified:
| Category | Description |
|---|---|
| Obstruction | Signal blocked by trees, buildings, or other obstacles |
| Network Issue | Starlink network-side problem |
| No Signal | Terminal unable to lock onto satellites |
| No Schedule | No network schedule available from Starlink |
| Booting | Terminal restarting or updating firmware |
| Unknown | Cause could not be determined |
History View
The outage history shows a timeline of all disconnections with:
- Time and Date: When the outage started
- Duration: How long the connection was lost
- Category: Classified cause of the outage
- Severity: Impact level based on duration and frequency
Filtering
Use the filter buttons in the top-right to show:
- All: Every event and outage
- Events: Warnings and advisories only
- Outages: Confirmed outages only
The header bar shows a summary: total downtime, event count, and outage count.
Outage data is retained for 30 days locally. Export to CSV or JSON for long-term record keeping.
